I just checked, looks like it is. I’m not sure whether it’s on all there supported devices though. Or wether it works with all their content.
It depends on the show. I remember trying to use it to watch Nine News as I got home late a few weeks back and the option wasn’t available. I tried again a few days ago and it was available. It also has a bug whereby if the video starts buffering and doesn’t start playing you do not have a choice but to start the video from the beginning. I work in software development and these sorts of things should be picked up during testing and fixed before it gets released there is no excuse. If I remember correctly you can’t seek to a particular point in the video when you have used the start from beginning functionality. You should be able to seek up to live if you want to.
So you can skip through all the ads that pay for the free service you are watching?
They would in theory play ads before the content actually plays at the point you seek to. If you were to watch the VOD you would be able to seek up to whatever point in the show you want.
On demand aswell?
A new FAST channel launched today called 9Crime.
The ID is very similar to the Fox Crime ID that was on Foxtel before it was renamed
When was the ID channel on Foxtel called Fox Crime ID?
ID as in “identification” - more like the little 5-10 second sweeps FOX used to do start and end of ads.
Kind of reminds me when Prime TV in NZ took Channel Nine programmes and had their own version of dotty
What is that monstrosity lol.
Ask the Kiwis… my guess is revenge for the underarm delivery!
What shows are on 9 crime?
I would assume it is just the shows that are in the 9now crime category. 9now has had a pretty big crime category for a while now.
MAFS FAST Channel just launched.
