It did in NZ for a bit, but got dumped.
I’m guessing 75 given it’s position between 7mate and 7Flix on the 2023 graphic.
Straight replacement of 7mate SD in metro areas would be the easiest.
More than 570 episodes of The Kelly Clarkson Show have aired in the US as of this week, so there will be a lot of episodes for 7Bravo to catch up, especially during season breaks in American summer (Australian winter).
Yeah they tried but then took it away. I thought they would atleast let it air at 10.30 on weeknights but decided not too.
And the most efficient. But I would rather 7mateHD moved to 73/63 and 7Bravo moved to 74/64. This gives channels more bandwidth, however 7flix would look like a sore thumb on 76/66 while the other multis are on x2/x3/x4.
Isn’t it still just one button away if there is no 75? Not as big a deal as some suggest.
I am getting a little tired of networks moving channels around every few years nor does this help in a contracting viewer environment.
Not on Seven Regional with ishoptv…
However removing 7mate SD and replacing it with 7Bravo is a good idea. 7QLD have already moved main channel/7TWO/7MATE to HD. And plus, if it is the SD simulcast of mate removed, then there will be more bandwidth available rather than running 7mate SD/7Bravo. Also solves the problem with Seven Regional viewers having ishoptv on 65.
Probs gonna flop just like food network imo
I think The Food Network was too niche whereas this channel has s variety of programming. It won’t be huge but it will respectable.
But I am surprised networks are still starting up new channels when more people are watching streamed programs rather than broadcasts these days.
This shouldn’t affect Hayu’s NBC deal should it, vs the streaming (having the shows available as they’ve aired ) component on 7Plus’s deal?
Different deals … right? Not the same as FTA streaming rights? FTA streaming (AVOD ? ) different isn’t it ? Streaming rights different to FTA not the same I assume before someone tells me this again …
Don’t know if any of those shows on this upcoming channel will be available to stream on 7Plus and say Hayu or elsewhere ? None of them from the names sound like they have been previously available here.
I’m sure I read or heard somewhere from memory that 7Plus was also going to have NBC titles like Parks and Rec and The Office every episode on 7Plus as the only source but maybe that was a rumour if Peacock launched here.
Given NBCUniversal own Hayu, I think not.
Again, big difference between FTA / BVOD and a subscription streaming service when it comes to rights.
My understanding is that bar some exceptions which either haven’t aired in Australia before or are new series like Quantum Leap, Lopez vs. Lopez etc, a good majority of the content for 7Bravo will be shown in a second window rights capacity.
Judge Jerry is about the only one that interests me though it appears it was cancelled after 3 seasons.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen it in Australia.
Admittedly, it is the one title that piqued my curiosity. Will check it out when it launches.
Will be interesting to see if it will be in the Seven own regional channels?
More likely than before, and can be expected to launch on 7QLD/7Regional. The only problem is ishoptv, it would need to be removed or put on 67/69.
Wonder when we’ll start to see on air promotion of the new channel.
They’ll probably start promoting it over the holiday season.
7Bravo launches on 15 January 2023.
