Get roped into romance and rivalry the McBee family face challenges on and off the farm in the second season of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, premiering at 9.30pm Wednesday, 28 January, on 7Bravo and 7plus.

In the thrilling new season, the stakes couldn’t be higher as eldest brother Steven Jr. has been left in charge of the McBee family farm and the race is on during harvest season to save it from being foreclosed.

With Steven’s relationship with Calah on the rocks, Jesse’s anxiety around marrying Alli, and Cole buckling under the prospect of becoming a father with pregnant girlfriend Kacie, these young men find themselves attempting to salvage their relationships and save the farm at the same time.

When an FBI investigation threatens to take down their business, their mother, Kristi, has to step in to keep the family from falling apart.

Coming up in the new season of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys:

  • In his father’s absence, Steven McBee Jr. takes the reins of the family farm. Along with the constant highs and lows of his relationship with Calah Jackson, he’s burdened by the weight of the farm’s impending $6 million debt collection payment. Steven Jr. is tested to confront not just the future of the farm, but the man he’s trying to become.
  • Calah’s tumultuous relationship with Steven Jr. leaves her feeling like an outsider in a family she’s desperately tried to fit into. She must make a choice to fight for her place in the family or leave it all behind before it breaks her completely.
  • With a baby on the way, Cole McBee is trying to shed his reckless past and outshine his brother Steven Jr. to be the one leading the farm. As the pressure increases, the temptation to fall back into old habits threatens everything he’s worked to build.
  • Kacie Adkison is expecting a baby with Cole, but his past mistakes make it hard to believe he’s the man he claims to be. Ultimately, she needs to decide whether to trust him wholeheartedly or protect herself and walk away.
  • Jesse McBee is ready to marry his high school sweetheart, but the finality of it all and his brother’s insistence on a prenup leaves him questioning his instincts. Along with the demands of the farm, Jesse is left second-guessing everything he thought he wanted.
  • After a 10-year wait, Alli Ventresca is finally engaged to Jesse. As their wedding approaches, she finds herself torn between the life she’s always known and the one they’re creating together. As uncertainty begins to weigh on her, she must decide what she’s willing to sacrifice to make her marriage work.
  • Kristi McBee takes charge of the family farm and becomes the steady, no-nonsense presence her sons rely on, whether they’re ready for her honesty or not. No longer willing to stay silent, Kristi finally confronts Galyna Saltkovska, the woman she holds responsible for tearing her marriage apart.
  • Galyna’s world shatters when she learns her ex, Steve McBee Sr., has been seeing her good friend Masha behind her back. Heartbroken and distracted, Galyna struggles to focus on the company she helped build. As she fights to stay strong, the weight of betrayal threatens to consume her.
  • Brayden McBee becomes the most eligible bachelor in the family after ending his long-term relationship. Will his quest for love get his brothers into trouble?

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is produced by Jeff Jenkins Productions, in association with 3BMG. Jeff Jenkins, Russell Jay-Staglik, Melissa Bidwell, Brandon Beck, Eric Monsky, Ross Weintraub and Reinout Oerlemans executive produce.

I noticed on the EPG that 7Bravo’s Movie Club on Sunday and the reality programming on Saturday swap nights from next week. Saturday Night Live also starts an hour earlier at 10:30pm.

Perhaps the Sunday night movies weren’t working on Bravo? But glad they’re on Saturday nights instead.

Am more happy that Saturday Night Live is now at an earlier time - of 10.30pm. I hope it’s a more permanent thing. As 11.30pm was late.

Unknown Serial Killers of America exposes murderers kept under wraps

Beyond the infamous names of Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy and Jack the Ripper lurk countless forgotten murderers. Uncover their disturbing true crime stories in Unknown Serial Killers of America, premiering 8.30pm Monday, 23 February on 7Bravo and 7plus.

London Calling

Real Housewives of London deliver high society drama

Meet the six glamorous women making their mark across Britain’s capital’s most prestigious postcodes when The Real Housewives of London premieres 9.30pm Wednesday, 8 April on 7Bravo and 7plus.

From Belgravia to Chelsea, these women balance ambition, family and fierce friendship all while living life at full volume.

Whether hosting lavish dinners, escaping to a Scottish castle or rebuilding bonds over a bottle of champagne, they’re navigating life, legacy and loyalty in a city where wealth whispers and grudges roar.

Housewives sharing a glimpse into their lives of high-society drama include Juliet Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker and Nessie Welschinger.

Unmissable stories from the season include:

  • Juliet Angus returns London with a bang and a bust sculpture to prove it. She is living life on her own terms: between launching her jewellery brand and celebrating 20 years with her husband, Gregor, she’s got plenty to toast to… but fractured alliances threaten her hard-won confidence and leave her wondering who to trust.

  • Amanda’s skincare line booming and a she has a £20 million designer abode to match. Amanda is reclaiming her narrative and opening herself up to the possibility of a new romance. But her past with Juliet Angus won’t stay buried and her biting comebacks and brutal honesty aren’t winning everyone over.

  • As her children fly the nest, Karen returns to London to finally pursue her dream of launching her own fashion label, Becuz. But reestablishing herself in the city’s social scene proves challenging, with whispered rumours, shifting alliances, and loyalty constantly under scrutiny. Peace is hard to find when you’re caught between clashing Housewives in a group that questions your every move.

  • Juliet Mayhew makes bold return to singing while and her business ventures expand. Juliet finds herself at the centre of the group’s gossip, and not always in a good way. Accusations of insincerity and social climbing swirl around her, but Juliet refuses to stay silent. With her friendships under fire and her authenticity questioned, Juliet leans on Nessie for support and sets her sights on a drama-free reinvention.

  • Panthea has her sights set on redefining what it means to be a modern mother. Panthea mixes Persian hospitality with party-girl unpredictability. She’s trying to keep the peace, but her sharp tongue and unapologetic opinions keep her squarely in the line of fire.

  • Nessie’s children’s cookbook climbs the charts and her events become can’t-miss affairs. Nessie is embracing her role as the group’s unshakeable heart. But playing peacemaker isn’t easy when everyone’s at war, and this season, even she finds herself drawn into the drama.

Saturday Night Live is out of the schedule this Saturday night. Instead, at 11pm, “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is airing instead. Not sure if it’s a permanent thing, or just a once off.

It’s because SNL’s season 50 finished its FTA run last Saturday. Seven will have to wait for the current season 51 to finish on Foxtel, before getting the chance to screen new episodes.

Growing up in the spotlight

Next Gen NYC showcases a tangled web of friends stepping out of their parents’ shadows

Join the next wave of New Yorkers as they as they conquer the concrete jungle and navigate the trials and tribulations of young adulthood in Next Gen NYC, premiering 8.30pm, Thursday, 30 April, on 7Bravo and 7plus.

The series follows Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Ava Dash, Emira D’Spain, Shai Fruchter, Gia Giudice, Brooks Marks, Georgia McCann, Hudson McLeroy and Charlie Zakkour as they establish their identity and shape the cultural zeitgeist, all while diving headfirst into the chaos that is NYC living.

Next Gen NYC follows a tangled web of friends raised in the spotlight, or at least close enough for good lighting, as they stumble into adulthood one brunch, breakup and spontaneous decision at a time. Whether stepping out of their parents’ shadows or creating their own legacies from scratch, these twentysomethings are determined to conquer Manhattan – if they can figure out how to adult first. Together, they will navigate friendships, careers and romance, proving that trouble runs on espresso martinis and questionable decisions.

The series also features The Real Housewives personalities Kandi Burruss, Teresa Guidice, Meredith and Seth Marks and Kim Zolciak-Biermann, as their children embark on their next chapter in the Big Apple. Chloe Marks also appears alongside her brother Brooks, shaking up the group dynamic.

About the cast:

  • Ariana Biermann is the first in her family to leave Atlanta and step out on her own. She has no safety net and no family backup, just her high-school sweetheart Hudson, a dream of launching a streetwear line, and a one-way ticket to New York City. Growing up with mum Kim Zolciak-Biermann on The Real Housewives of Atlanta taught her how to navigate chaos, keep her circle tight and always stand up for what’s right. Can she build a life on her own terms or is she about to learn that Southern loyalty doesn’t always translate in the big city?

  • Riley Burruss may have The Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran Kandi Burruss as a mum, but she’s determined to make her mark on her own terms. Riley hustled through her NYU years, snagging every high-profile internship in sight. Level-headed and totally unfazed, she says exactly what she’s thinking, which makes her the go-to for people who can handle the truth. Now she has one year to discover her true passion (or it’s off to law school and a 9-to-5 life) and with childhood friend Ariana Biermann suddenly back in her orbit, things are about to get a lot more dramatic. Can Riley figure it all out or is growing up about to serve her a major reality check?

  • Ava Dash has always had the “it factor”. The daughter of music mogul Damon Dash and fashion icon Rachel Roy, Ava was surrounded by legends from day one, but she’s never needed a famous last name to turn heads. Cool, calm and effortlessly collected, Ava is the girl every guy wants to date and every girl wants to be. She grew up in Tribeca and after years in L.A. is now back in the city, pursuing modelling full-time. With a new guy in the picture and fresh faces entering the circle, Ava’s effortless reign as the group’s most-wanted might not be so effortless after all.

  • Emira D’Spain has hustle in her DNA. Born in Dubai and raised in Dallas, she turned her NYU degree and a killer internship into a coveted role as Paper magazine’s beauty director, and now she’s thriving as one of New York’s most successful content creators. Ambitious, driven and always two steps ahead, Emira lives life on her own terms and never apologises for her success. She usually stays above the fray when drama unfolds, but this summer, balancing romance and friendship loyalties might disrupt her perfectly planned hustle.

  • Shai Fruchter has spent his whole life adapting, from growing up between Israel and China to transplanting into a suburban New Jersey high school. Now after a year in Manhattan’s eclectic East Village, he’s finally free to explore creativity, romance and the endless pursuit of authenticity, but joining this circle of bold, connected, and ambitious friends might be more than he bargained for.

  • Gia Giudice might be Jersey royalty thanks to her mum, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, but she’s determined to build a legacy all her own. Fresh out of college and with law school on pause, Gia is juggling schedules to see her long-term boyfriend and hustling nonstop between New Jersey and Manhattan. Gia’s survived a lifetime of family drama in the public eye, making her fiercely protective of family and friendships. But while Gia has plenty of drive, the actual drive into the city might just push her over the edge. Despite Gia’s ambitious and loyal nature, the pull of Manhattan might shift her priorities.

  • Brooks Marks wasn’t born into the spotlight; he walked right into it when his mum, Meredith Marks, made her debut on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City while he was in college at NYU. Now a fashion entrepreneur, Brooks has big dreams, but his real talent is finding himself in the middle of drama, despite claiming he hates conflict. As he turns 25, Brooks faces a major crossroads: step out from his mum’s shadow, or keep playing referee between family demands, messy friendships and a never-ending to-do list. Can he finally put himself first or will his signature poker face crack under the pressure?

  • Georgia McCann is New York’s ultimate Gen Z it-girl. She’s bold, brilliant and unapologetically original. A fourth-generation New Yorker, Georgia fiercely defends the city’s artistic soul from developers and finance bros alike. As a brand and events creative strategist, Georgia rules the downtown scene. The city has always been her first love, but this summer a surprising romance and shifting friendships might shake things up, threatening to leave Georgia’s carefully curated world in turmoil.

  • Hudson McLeroy comes from an Atlanta family known for massive self-made success, and he’s already had early success on his own as an investor. Now he’s heading straight into the hustle of New York City, all in the name of love. He and Ariana Biermann have been on-again, off-again sweethearts since junior high, and while they might seem like a match made in heaven, navigating Manhattan’s social scene can be taxing on any relationship. Hudson has charm, ambition and a Southern gentleman’s manners, but can he handle this circle of friends (and frenemies) or is fitting in about to become his riskiest investment yet?

  • Charlie Zakkour is a crypto trader and private investor who’s been ruling NYC’s club scene since he was 14, and he knows everyone (and their secrets). Charming but blunt, Charlie says exactly what’s on his mind, and sometimes what others wish he wouldn’t. Beneath his tough exterior, he’s fiercely loyal, especially to close confidantes like Ava Dash. For the first summer in years, Charlie finds himself basking in his autonomy, but he might find being unattached creates more drama than ever.

Next Gen NYC is produced by 9th Degree Productions. Michaline Babich, Shari Levine, David O’Connell, Chaz Morgan, Michelle Schiefen, Lauren Nathan and Ariel Algus serve as executive producers.
