I am actaully amazed that Smith wants to engage at all with the Epstein files, let alone stand up for a man (Trump) who is suspected of being engaged in illegal activitiy with a disgraced sexual predator (Epstein).
Smith has behaved poorly towards women, including allegedly whipping his dick out at a party and telling younger female colleagues where he would like to put it.
In 2025, Smith is standing up for powerful men who are accused of appalling behaviour towards women and girls. Wow. The irony is simply breathtaking. He should just shut the f*** up.

Driving around this morning listening to the Chris Smith show, he had someone doing the old fake voice thing pretending to be the Prime Minister and Bob Katter. It was the most unfunny thing Iâd heard in ages, sounded so 1980âs. Apparently he does this regularly.

Whoever made it had the PM referring to Katter as a âsilly old leboâ. I get that itâs in reference to the run in he had with the Ch9 reporter but that was an age ago. I actually wasnât sure I heard it right so listened again to make sure. Smith just kind of moved on quickly afterwards.
Every once in a while a regular caller mentions how they were encouraged to call. I can also hear the same person calling in on a different phone or using effects. 2sm needs to be investigated .
Seriously the callers are controlling the shows, they are old Australia first party and leura accord paranoiacs. Caller Julie has lost her head. Dump the junk and get quality callers, or shut it down.
I donât think itâs the callers. Itâs the announcers (and producers when theyâre there) who are responsible for what goes to air.
Oh, and if there are any PDâs/CDâs, Iâd be airchecking the crap out of these shows.
Sadly, the majority of nutters are from the network programming out of 2HD. And it is clear with the recent Newcastle results, that not even Newcastle can handle these callers.
Again, 2SM needs to become the network hub with strong, experienced talent who wonât put up with long-winded pointless callers just to fill up the hour.
The entire 2HD team (outside of Richard King, Brent Bultitude & Cheralyn Darcey) need to have segments, interviews and live guests. You cannot simply rock up to a shift having some notes printed off the Internet as âtopics to discussâ.
They keep letting the same vexatious madman on air over time. Names mentioned, voice easily recognised. Building a story in the mentally ill callers mind.
2sm should have a duty of care. So many callers are clearly unwell.
Iâm surprised 2sm didnât get caught up in the Fairfield fake Mosque development stuff, itâs perfect outrage material, maybe in a few weeks they will fire it up after some crank sees it on Facebook.
