Is that a new screen on the left?

Yes, I believe it used to be a TV wall and now it’s one screen.

Never mind, they are letting him do stuff on the big board since it’s his last state election

Antony Green just called it for Labor at 10:42 AEDT. Only took an extra hour more than last election.

Disastrous for WA Liberals.

I don’t mind this actually. Better than cramming the floor graphics on the riser, like they’ve done previously.

Though I am not sure I like the new graphics in the opener. The two circles either side of the logo look funny.

Antony Green has made his 2nd last call of his career. Truly the end of an era approaching in 2 months time

That ABC desk looks unbalanced with the blue on the right not matching the left.

Seven was last to call the win

I agree. I quite like the set extension. It’s a good evolution in my eyes and quite clean.

I could be wrong but I believe 10 were first of the commercial networks to take Cook’s presser. Seven and Nine were with Mettam and cut away late.

10: “retains premiership.” Probably technically correct but what is this, a sport grand final?

ABCs coverage has been a bit of a mess to be honest.

6PR’s coverage went off air at 9:56pm AWST. Professor Martin Drum called the election at 7:34pm local time with 6PR being the first broadcaster (televison or radio) to call the election.

Commercial networks once again using features in their graphic design that we have in the Australian voting system - this time a tick on Nine. Idiots!

This always irks me. Assuming they’ve just acquired some election graphics template from the US.
