Yeah. It’s Gogglebox Australia.
Neither was I!
Lol, those ratings for 10 are pathetic. The broadasts were (mostly?) the exact same so this is reflective of their reputation and it’s clear nobody takes 10 seriously as a news organisation.
Chaired by Fiona Bruce, the debate will be recorded at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with an American audience and panel of politicians and prominent commentators.
The show will be recorded on Wednesday 9 October and broadcast on Thursday 10 October at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Details of the panel will be confirmed soon.
I’m actually surprised they didn’t watch Planet America - would’ve been an obvious choice if they are talking about US politics.
The documentary, hosted by journalist Matt Frei, was shown on Channel 4 UK on Monday this week. Here is a review from The Guardian:
Harris has agreed to a second CNN debate on 23 October, which has been rejected by Trump.
Melania Trump will sit down with Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt for an interview to air on Thursday, the network announced.
This will be the former first lady’s first interview in more than two years, per Fox News. She will discuss her new book, Melania, as well as the presidential campaign and the assassination attempts on her husband’s life.

The Vice Presidential Debate
Tim Walz v Jd Vance
America Decides: The Vice Presidential Debate. Tim Walz versus J.D. Vance, live coverage and analysis from 10 News First and CBS.
Not a dig at 10 but is this going to have much interest here?
ABC News Channel will also have coverage from 11am to 1:15pm, and will include local analysis from Jeremy Fernandez, Julia Baird and David Speers.
Probably not, especially since the main two aren’t in the debate.
Definitely not as much as the initial debate between Trump and Kamala surely, I think they’re only doing it because it’s CBS moderated and not a bad lead-in to the Lunchtime bulletin.
Would be - it make’s good use of their CBS resources.
SBS and ABC are covering it as they always do (SBS being the multicultural broadcaster, and ABC having a dedicated News Channel).
So Ten are criticised for not covering news events, now they’re being criticised for covering one.
If you’re going to frame a reasonable question about Australians’ interest in an American vice presidential debate as “criticism” then you might want to take a breather and - as the kids say - touch some grass.
I couldn’t have been more clearer that I wasn’t criticising 10, I was asking if there was enough “general” interest in this debate for Australians.
Getting pretty tired of your overly defensive attitude to people asking genuine questions to be honest.
No one is criticising 10 for covering it, we are asking if the majority of people will be interested in watching the debate, whether that’s through ABC, SBS, 10, CBS, NBC, YouTube.
Agreed - it’s okay to make a point, however, it doesn’t need to be hammered at every opportunity IMO.
Apologies for offending you.
