10 saying 10am and 9 saying 11am?

The network has announced the rules for the Tuesday, Sept. 10 debate (9/8c), which is set to run for 90 minutes with two commercial breaks. Candidates will have two minutes to answer each question, with two additional minutes allowed for rebuttals and an extra minute for follow-ups. Each candidate’s microphone will be muted when the other candidate is speaking, and they will not be permitted to ask each other questions. After a coin flip to decide, Trump will deliver the last closing statement — there will be no opening statements — while Harris’ podium will be on the right.
ABC News’ David Muir and Linsey Davis will moderate from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, with no audience in the room, and “will seek to enforce timing agreements and ensure a civilized discussion.” No topics or questions will be shared with the candidates beforehand, and no props or pre-written notes will be allowed on stage.

With the nation’s core values on the line in this debate, the candidates will face off on issues that shape America and have far-reaching implications for the entire world, including Australia.

US Presidential Election
Then, on Wednesday, November 6, Channel 9 will broadcast the US Presidential Election with the powerhouse hosting team of Karl Stefanovic and Liz Hayes. Political Editor Charles Croucher will join them, crunching the numbers as they come in, along with US political analysts providing up-to-the-minute results.
Our experienced US correspondents, Jonathan Kearsley, Alison Piotrowski, and Lauren Tomasi, together with 60 Minutes’ Amelia Adams, will report live from key battleground states, while our partnership with CNN will ensure we have unmatched access to the most critical developments, with reporters stationed at both Democrat and Republican headquarters.
But first, all eyes turn to next week’s pivotal debate, where the candidates will make their case to the world, setting the stage for what promises to be an extraordinary election season.

Liz Hayes is an interesting choice. I’d have though Deb Knight would have been the obvious choice.

TVB Pearl in Hong Kong currently lists the 8-10.30am and 9.30-11.30pm timeslots on 11/9 as TBD, presumably for live and replaying the debate.
[Update] The morning session is now labelled as the debate, but they have replaced the primetime replay with a movie.

In regards to online media what would be a good online site to follow the US election , I don’t want to follow the tv coverage or any of the mainstream bias news organisations. Just want to look and analyse the results without the fluff.

The Conversation would be a great start. BBC News is also another great source, though that maybe more mainstream.
For results I generally go to the Associated Press unless ABC Aus is covering it.
The Cook Political Report and Politco are two websites that to my understanding are respected by both sides of politics.
Hope this helps
