Democratic race for the White House begins this week in Chicago.
I think the one of Fox would be before the ABC debate.
I think Trump would want Fox to be the last debate, since for obvious reasons it would go in his favour than the other two debates.
At his media conference he gave the dates he said had been agreed by the networks.
DETROIT, Aug 8 (Reuters) - U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Democratic opponent Kamala Harris will debate on Sept. 10 on ABC, setting up the first face-to-face match-up between the rivals in what polls show is a close race.
In a news conference at his Palm Beach, Florida, residence, Trump said he wanted additional debates on Sept. 4 and Sept. 25 that would air on Fox (FOXA.O), opens new tab and NBC (CMCSA.O), opens new tab.
Originally during his Press Conference today, he said the first one would be FOX News (September 5th), then NBC (September 10th), and then ABC (September 25th).
Though it seems he may have mixed up the order, so maybe the NBC one would be the first or last one.
Apologies - wasn’t aware he had a preference for one before the other.
All good
I don’t usually involve myself in US Politics so I’ll keep this brief - He had agreed to the CNN debate when approached and to the rules, as did Biden. Trump did have some minimal feedback, saying they should stand next to podiums, rather than sit down as was the original plan.
He also said that CNN was reportedly surprised when he did say yes, given his known dislike for the Network and their preference towards the Democratic Party in their reporting. He actually praised them at a recent rally, as he felt they were very fair that day, which resulted in an applause from the audience.
The ABC News debate was already penciled in at the same time, which he agreed to under the pretence of still debating Biden.
After Joe Biden dropped out of the race, Trump felt the slate was reset and that new debates should be held between Kamala Harris and himself, and given he accepted to debate on CNN despite has past grievances, he felt it was fair for a debate to be held on FOX News as well, and others.
A similar case was raised on the VP side last month around the time of the RNC Convention, as JD Vance had agreed to debate Kamala Harris as Vice Presidents, but when concerns further grew that Joe Biden would bow out, Vance had later declined, saying that he wanted to know who would be the definitive VP candidate he would be debating, as it would be pointless to go head to head with Harris if she was going to replace Biden, which is a fair point in my opinion, and turned out to be correct.
I am glad the two have agreed to debate each other and that Harris is open to more too.
I will retreat from politics for now
See you on October 1, JD. https://t.co/ssi0FdseN9

The CBS VP debate is happening.
On Thursday, Vance posted on social media that he accepted the CBS News debate on Oct. 1, and said he also wanted to debate on CNN on Sept. 18.
“The American people deserve as many debates as possible, which is why President Trump has challenged Kamala to three of them already,” Vance wrote on X. “Not only do I accept the CBS debate on October 1st, I accept the CNN debate on September 18th as well. I look forward to seeing you at both!”
Seeing Vance in a debate setting after his recent struggling to answer softball questions designed to make any candidate feel like a relatable everyman will be very interesting
Will probably be just as entertaining as Trump V Harris
While I haven’t seen that particular clip yet, at least though Vance is answering questions.
Harris has been doing her rallies, as has Trump, but from what I have heard, her last conference taking questions from the Press was prior to Joe Biden stepping down in June.
Hopefully she does eventually, as it is odd for a Presidential Candidate to be doing very little question taking from the Press, which then can be passed on to voters to influence their decision.
If Trump shows up to the ABC debate, then Harris is willing to debate Trump again in October on an unspecified network.
