GB Newsâ plans for their election coverage:
Based on the FT projection - Labour should pass the 325 count at about 1pm in Australia; though it could be sooner.

Any Australian networkâs have plans?
SBS may take a few hours of the BBC coverage like they have done before.
ABC News Channel will probably have extended coverage in itâs normal bulletins, however, wonât have Antony Greene available as he had a holiday booked in prior to it being called (he was probably expecting the Conservatives to hold out till November).
Yeh, i checked the advanced guides on tv tonight and couldnât see anything.
FWIW can confirm 6 News will be on with live coverage from 7am AEST (if I remember to wake up in time)
Just set 100 consecutive alarms, and sleep in your studio, and youâll be fine
Love the graphics here from Sky:
Hate to say it, but itâs probably not impactful enough for the Australian networks to provide rolling coverage. Sky might just take their Uk feed for extended periods.
Casey Briggs is in Europe so maybe heâs bound for London?
Probably. They have sent Antony to London a few times.
ITN Archive is streaming their past election coverage (1959-97) on Youtube:
Channel 4âs election night promo, adding a th to their symbol:
So far the only coverage in Australia will be from BBC News and Sky News UK on Foxtel and Flash.
ABC News will probably have extensive updates during the day on the news channel, and have reportedly sent Casey Briggs to London (Antony Green is on a holiday booked prior to the election being called early).
For radio, BBC Radio 4 will have rolling coverage (via BBC Sounds), and the BBC World Service will have extensive coverage mixed with rest of the days global news (via BBC Sounds and SBS Radio).
Iâm flying on friday from PER to BNE (4.5 hours) - my plane is scheduled for wifi so iâm planning on firing up flash and watching during the flight
Donât forget CNN! Theyâre doing full coverage from London with Richard Quest whom I love but accept may be an acquired taste for others
ITVâs election set, with the same virtual background as the two elections before but with a different desk this time:

turn that desk 90 degrees, and it could trump the desk on 7NEWS Perth
