Surprised 10 didn’t even have a watermark for most of its coverage. WIN (per usual), did in regional areas.
And I thought WIN weren’t allowed (presumably in their affiliation agreement with 10) to put their logo on news from 10.
I’m glad that the coverage overnight was about Trump leaving and Biden’s inauguration.
No protests, no bombs or guns, no riots and no domestic terrorism, all of which seemed a possibility after last week.
They did, a CBS one.
So good that 7 covered this on FTA. It was available to all broadcasters. Surprised others didn’t show it.
CNN and MSNBC aired the concert too on subscription television
Yeh. CNN was commercial free. So you got more content.
Disappointed Foxtel doesn’t have MSNBC.
But it was important because at that point and until Biden took the oath of office, Trump was still President.
Usually the sitting President is present at the inauguration of their successor, in this case the President was somewhere else so they were merely covering both events simultaneously.
ABC’s graphics are terrible!
The feed for the Celebrating America concert on 7 also cut off at the wrong time at one stage, with an ad for a certain primetime show (can’t remember which one)
How pathetic 7 delayed the coverage to other states , absolutely smacking of the Sydney superiority complex.
And how absurd 10 let a couple CBS promos through to their feed. What an absolute joke of an “other commercial license” - cause we can’t name them can we @parano1a?
10 really should’ve just had test pattern up, no point doing anything if they can’t get something as simple as an ad break right. What absolute amateurs.
