14 March 2019
The start of 2019 NRL Season will see Nine take a dive in ratings from last year mostly due to fans watching the coverage on Fox League and Kayo, but will still win the night.
NRL - Melbourne Storm v Brisbane Broncos - 450k (including on 9GEM)
Show Me The movie - 375k
Gogglebox - 685k
Home and Away - 498k

The AFL on Seven’s main channel with local teams in both Melbourne and Adelaide, as well as local team in Perth on 7mate, will give the network huge shares.

The FTA premiere of Nine’s first Walt Disney movie in the modern era will therefore be affected, but should still increase Nine’s share a little and possibly win in Sydney and Brisbane (will be close with the ABC).

Seven also have a Disney Marvel re-run on tonight, which isn’t ideal.
