The Melbourne Cup promo now has 10 Play added to the endboard. I remember last year that the Channel 10 streams temporarily increased to HD 720p (I think it was that) for the duration of the Melbourne cup carnival. I wonder if that will happen again this year?

Would you rather this or Fam Time?

It’s a digital series, speaking to the MTV audience I would say.

Fam is just an abbreviation. Lyf is a wank.

It’s as stupid as SyFy.

Ten are just wasting Entertainment Tonight again. They’ve dropped the early morning repeat and are only showing bits and pieces after reality show repeats in the afternoon.

Some days they drop the episode completely. Then when they do drop it, they don’t even bother putting it on 10 play. When they do put the episode on 10 play, it’s only the bits and pieces that screened in the afternoon.

Can’t they at least upload the the full episode on 10play every day? Such a waste. What sort of tin pot operation are they running at 10?

Have you tried contacting them?

I sent them a message last time this happened and I didn’t even get a response.

Yeah they’re pretty useless at responding, not ideal.

I reported on Monday that they had not uploaded any episodes of For Real on 10play since it started. On Tuesday they uploaded episodes 3 to 8 but not episodes 1&2.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight was not shown again yesterday and not uploaded to 10play.

Thank God You’re Here, when I last looked on my Apple TV said it expires in 4 months so better get around to finishing it before it goes. I’m about halfway through it.

10 play’s NAIDOC Week Web Series Delivers Stuff Everyone Should Know About Australia

This 2020 NAIDOC Week, Elaine Crombie hosts Stuff Everyone Should Know About Australia - a 10 play documentary web series that’s all about busting myths and celebrating truths.

Let’s be real, when it comes to the history and culture of Australia’s First Nations people, non-indigenous Australians have been taught from very little, to a heap of outdated crap written by 18 and 19th-century white blokes.

Sure, England has Stone Henge and Greece the Parthenon, but here in Australia we have many wonderful ancient sites and places of culture to visit and behold.

This series looks at the fun, fascinating facts about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture. Visit places where bread was being baked long before the Egyptians worked out how to do it. Gain an understanding of what The Dreaming is, and what songlines sing. Unlearn myths and expand notions of what it means to be a hunter-gatherer by visiting ancient fish traps and fields covered in native grains.

From Sydney and its surrounds to outback NSW, learn and unlearn from the people who are the authorities on Australian history and culture - Indigenous Australians themselves.

Stuff Everyone Should Know About Australia will premiere on 10 play at the beginning of NAIDOC Week from Sunday 8 November.
