They’ve got so many cheap seats and hybpa that they could air 6-7 and surely fill a gap for a year or 2 with Australian content

What about the original Mother And Son, Let The Blood Run Free, Late For School, Binges, Comedy Company, All Aussie Adventures, Sit Down Shut Up. The Family Business?
A lot of those were flops. I’d be looking at ones from this century.

These were all flops.
They only ran for one season in Australia except for Let the Blood Run Free which had a second season made because it was popular in Germany and they funded it.
Also it’s all old AF.

They literally have them as FAST Channels. And while HYBPA covers recent stories, its still a comedy quiz show that they haven’t repeated to death. I mean they can just stick with Friends/TBBT
They really should be going after the absolute classic sitcoms that you can watch on repeat no matter how old they are. I don’t know how the rights work but they really should do all they can to get Seinfeld , and the office back as well as trying to somehow wrangle some of the animation comedies, even if they are early seasons, like The Simpsons, American dad, Futurama, etc.
Surely they can pick up some cheap content from around the world, such as comedy prank shows, video compilation shows.
They just really don’t seem to be trying to live up to this comedy focus. They have a whole heap of roasts and stand up comedyon 10 play and Paramount that they could be using and why not make better use of South Park instead of making that a paramount exclusive. It’s a comedy so why not put it on their comedy channel?
I just mentioned other Australian comedies they could fill the gap with. Someone mentioned Colin Carpenter thay lasted only 2 series. Friends is also very old (starting in 1994), But yet Ten continues to screen it. Most of what Ten screens on the secondary channels are of the same era.
Ten will most likely add repeats of these and screen Millionaire/Hot Seat repeats along with Deal Or No Deal (assuming they continue to screen in next year) to make up the “quota”.
The biggest joke on viewers is the channels name. Surely there are better names for the channel. Perhaps 10Comedy could be renamed 10Crap and 10Drama renamed 10Old
10Repeats and 10Encore would be better names for 10Comedy and 10Drama.
As for 10Comedy, just wish there was more of a mix outside of Friends and The Big Bang Theory.
And why are new episodes of South Park shafted at 10.30pm on a Thursday. An earlier timeslot, and ads promoting this would be more ideal. You know, the one of a very few new shows on this channel.

Ch 10 should replace Neighbours 6:30 weeknights with Neighbours from the beginning see your old favourites like a young Paul Robinson, Helen Daniels, Jim Robinson, Max Ramsay, Shane Ramsay,Danny Ramsay, Lucy Robinson, Maria R, Desmond Clarke and Daphne?

You can watch those first five seasons on YouTube. Neighbours official have been uploading them for months.

Love Friday nights on this channel. Frasier into Friends. No Neighbours jarring up the 6:30pm slot. It really is out of place during the week.
