I think I’ve hit on a strategy that is as close to failsafe as possible; I came up with it after nearly flunking yesterday (I have missed one or two before due to bad luck, which has made me refine my strategies). Got ‘agape’ in six but I would have easily got it in 4 had I went with my refined strategy.
@TV.Cynic seems to have already cracked the code, with both Wordle and Worldle. I think I know what he does with Worldle and I am employing the same strategy (if in doubt, look at the list of countries, together with taking cues from the distance). It helps that I know my E-skip distances from Europe.
I thought i had a good strategy too. I start with a word that uses themodt commonly used consonts and vowels. Mostly this works but in the case of “agape”, I had found two of the vowels straight up but then it took too many guesses to find the right consonants.
But then again “agape” is not really a familiar word so the degree of difficulty was high.

For f**ks sake:
Wordle 385 5/6
I hate it when this occurs. It’s like the game is laughing at you. Serves me right for boasting that I’d cracked the code…however when I get three letters first up, I try and solve it in two.

Countryle is playing funny buggers I don’t know what’s going on, it’s wiped my game stats and now refuses me to select a country.

Countryle was ok for me.
Elimination strategy worked pretty well today with a tough one:
Wordle 387 4/6
(TV Cynic again got lucky with two greens…I seriously don’t know how you do it. Do you start with the same word each time?)
#Worldle #171 1/6 (100%)
Easy peasy.
I always use radio as a start word, for sentimental reasons and that it has 3 vowels. I then try to use e and s in the next word depending on the result of the first.
That is a similar strategy to mine then, but I use ‘raise’ followed by ‘count’ if nothing much is revealed. If there is still not enough information I then use ‘glyph’. Today’s solution was relatively easy from there.
