For some reason my browser doesn’t save my streak at all now. I had a streak of 29 before the NYT takeover which is when I lost the record of it. MediaSpy is the only record I have now.

Nope. It’s baffling. I can actually do the puzzle again after solving it, if I close the tab.

I’m starting to hate this game - this is the fourth day in a row where I’ve ended up with a set of green letters that have lots of words

I would advise a more conservative strategy. Ignore the greens and spend the first guesses blacking out the keyboard. You’ll end up using less guesses.
