Week 12 2024

Nine continued its four-week winning streak to take out week twelve. Nine’s margin was one point higher than the previous win as Seven’s share fell by one. That was taken up by ABC and 10 that has both edged higher while SBS was unchanged.

Nine also won all key demos including 25-54 by a ten-point margin and 16-39 by 14 points.

In the 5-city market Nine’s margin was slightly higher and included wins in the three east coast markets while Seven was ahead in Adelaide and Perth. The winning margins were Sydney 15, Melbourne 1.5, Brisbane 10, Adelaide 9 and Perth 3.

Married at First Sight remained the dominant show of the week across all measures. The Hundred was again Nine’s second best offering outside of news, A Current Affair and 60 Minutes.

Two episodes of Australian Idol and The 1% Club all produced +800k episodes for the week with Home and Away’s average pulled down by Thursday’s schedule.

Death in Paradise and Australian story topped ABC’s non-news slate with The Weekly also making the top 20.

Two episodes of Australian Survivor including the final made the top 30 for 10 while the three Survivor episodes all made the top 10 in key demo groups.

Outside the top 30 featured Tipping Point AU in 33rd place and The Chase AU in 34th.

Thursday Night AFL was 24th, Friday Night 36th and Saturday Night 44th. Thursday Night NRL was 29th with Friday’s game 40th.
