Nine took out its third consecutive overnight ratings but by only 0.2 network share points. Nine and Seven were up slightly week-on-week, 10 was steady with ABC and SBS down slightly.

Travel Guides was the top entertainment show by a large margin and was up 90k from the previous week to its second highest audience of the season. Seven’s The 1% Club was down slightly while MasterChef also lost ground to a season low.

Over on ABC, 7pm news had its lowest Wednesday rating since March while 7.30 slipped down the rankings to 14th place, its lowest Wednesday rank for the year. Hard Quiz that flowed hit a 2023 low. Later The Weekly equalled its lowest 2023 result but still easily beat the commercial networks’ offerings.

Meanwhile, Alone Australia that is one week away from crowning a winner on SBS dropped 30k week-non-week in linear results after getting another big boost in Total TV viewing the previous week.

10’s North Shore disappointed and dropped out of the top 20 losing 45k from its premiere. However, it outrated Accused on Seven and an “encore” of The Summit, a surprise late amendment, that managed to lose +400k from its lead-in at 8.30pm. Nine will be hoping some of those viewers will return on Sunday.

At 6pm Seven News won all markets except Brisbane though for NIne News the lead in from Hot Seat is much better this week with the three highest episodes of the year.
