NBCâs Olympics coverage including every event live will be available a part of a standard subscription to Peacock with no Pay TV subscription required. A substantial change from the Tokyo and previous Olympics when a Pay TV log-in was required.
The CW is up for sale, and itâs been revealed the network has never turned a profit in its 15 year history.
Why would anyone buy a network that has always operated at a loss?
Nexstar owns many of the affiliates, so that makes the most sense, could possibly make a profit if they kept costs down, but I can see them going down more of a MyNetworkTV route of airing reruns and chasing a different audience.
I find that the network has never made any profit surprising. I wonder what costs the owners are taking out of The CW before profit.
I imagine many of the shows the CW airs make a lot of money in international distribution and streaming, so it may be a sustainable loss leader.
Apparently it was until they stopped selling their shows to Netflix. Now they go to HBO Max for the most part

Great actor, never watched Law & Order franchise, so canât comment on his appearance on that franchise. But he definitely was great as Bobby in The Practice.
