US Television

It is one of eight Audible podcasts to be adapted for TV.

Already in the Amazon family as an Audible podcast, now an MGM production.

A bit secretly made a few days ago with an app update, and previewed in the promos of the Taylor Swift concert film late last month, but with the official announcement of the integration of Hulu content into the platform (the integration has been testing since December, but it’s now out of beta and integrated with watchlists and recommendations), plus the upcoming merger with Star+ in Latin America (being made to align it with non-US markets, integrating ESPN content too, a move happening on June 30), Disney+ has officially launched a modified branding scheme with a new colour hue, aurora (in reference to the Sleeping Beauty character and aurora borealis), which is formed from the Disney corporate blue and the Hulu green. There is also new typography, with the modified version of FF Real Text Pro replaced by Articulat CF in their communication.

Also in the list of changes, there is a new Disney+ moving logo/curtain raiser for originals and app launches, reportedly designed by Loyalkaspar, and featuring a new sonic logo from Ludwig Göransson (who has done a fair amount of work for the company’s movie franchises, including Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universe films), plus a new animation. The Disney+ sonic cue used in all visual communication remains in use.

As for the interface, there is little change, just a font swap from Avenir to the Disney corporate font, InspireTWDC, used mainly for company communications and other Disney-branded content.

The original US version of The Bachelorette is filming in Australia for the first time. Herald Sun reports today that Jenn Tran had already taken one of her suitors to Elwood’s Point Ormond Hill in Melbourne’s south east this week.

There is another date in Melbourne taking place on Sunday (April 7) which local fans need to register to attend.

The 21st season of The Bachelorette US will air on ABC US in July.

NBC has axed Quantum Leap after 2 Seasons meaning there’s no Sci-Fi Programs left in the Schedule, What would the Peacock for their Monday and Tuesday Schedules heading into Fall 2024???

Something like this:

Mondays would be The Voice Airing All Night for the Blind Auditions and Battle Rounds, cutting to 2 Hours for the Knockouts with Season 2 of Irrational Premiering around Early November.

Tuesdays would have a Long Overdue Night of Situation Comedies (Night Court, Lopez vs Lopez, Extended Family and a New Sitcom called St. Denis Medical) followed by Found or a New Drama.

It probably makes sense for NBC to become more Competitive come Upfronts Season.

Wonder what 10 will replace it with?

Guess they ran out of things to talk about.

The new soap I’d imagine?

Hopefully they give the soap a chance rather than bury it at 7am.

It also has to premiere same day. Can’t be waiting a few months to see if it rates in the US.

CBS already have The Young and The Restless and The Bold and The Beautiful.

Maybe they should have called it The Gates and The Doors to follow the naming conventions. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

PS. I think The Gates is a terrible name for a soap and it will struggle from the start.

Perhaps The Old and The Ugly?
