Nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards were announced overnight. Game of Thrones receives 22 nominations, followed by Westworld’s 21 and The Handmaid’s Tale on 20. Aussie Yvonne Strahovski is nominated for a Supporting Actress award for The Handmaid’s Tale.
Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown got six nods, including two personally for Anthony Bourdain (who died last month) as executive producer, host and writer.
Sandra Oh has become the first nominee of Asian descent in the leading actress in a drama series, for her role in the BBC America series Killing Eve as a spy hunting a female assassin.
Netflix has the most nominations with 112 (including Creative Emmys), more than any of America’s FTA networks.
