Has anyone seen the Ken Jennings-hosted episodes of Jeopardy! over the course of this week? How’s he going as host?

Watched the first one yesterday and thought he did a great job but did wonder how many rehearsal eps he had to do and retakes had to be shot for him to appear that smooth. His slight speech impediment seems to be more noticeable in a more formal, less conversational setting. He had some nice words to say about Alex at the start and how he can’t be replaced but his legacy can live on.

The final Alex episode that aired last week was a real tear jerker as a tribute played at the end of the episode.

Katie Couric has been announced as the next guest host. Looking forward to her episodes. Noticed some clips from my YouTube uploads of her early days on NBC Today were used in US entertainment reports regarding her stint.

.2 - Start TV
.3 - Dabl
.4 - Fave TV

Fave was launched with no announcement and still appears to have no EPG or publicly available schedule. It appears to mostly be a best of ViacomCBS cable channels. Shows on the channel include: Run’s House, The Challenge, Punk’d, Challengey Hustle, Auction House
Bar Rescue, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team. They are being shown in blocks with someone commenting on the link below they watched several hours of Punk’d last week. There are also movies. More info here:

Patrick Brammall has a staring role in ABC’s new sitcom that premiered tonight.

Call Your Mother?

It is. It also stars Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer).

It looks truly dreadful.

I don’t know why either of those actors would lower themselves to do a sitcom like that considering their careers.

It’d be a big gig for Patrick, and for Kyra, I think you’ll find roles for women over 40 are harder to come by than for 20 year olds.

A sitcom like this was better for Kyra Sedgwick?
