Probably the worst live cross of the evening so far. Audio near-constantly going out as well.
Al Jazeera somehow manages to flip the script.
See several posts above - they dip in and out of Fox all the time.
Just crossed to Matt Doran again and the sound and picture was perfect. He mentioned that there are communication problems including loss of internet and suggesting Israel may be scrambling communications.
ETA: They were going to cross to him again later but he had to move to a bunker in Jerusalem.
8.13pm AEDT - Al Jazeera first to break news, citing Reuters, that everyone bombs everyone. The rest of news networks still not picking up this yet.
Super later replaced with:

Reports of successful interception by Patriot missiles over Doha in Qatar too.
Not important enough news for 9 to pre-empt their scheduled movie Runaway Bride?
I don’t think any Australian FTAs is pre-empting right now, apart from channel 24. Guess we could put that down to a lack of staffing required to handle hours of coverage.
In all honesty, that channel may have to call in overnight anchors. This story is not going anywhere for at least 12 hours.
Nine is supposedly doing “Today from Las Vegas” tomorrow. I wonder if that may change now with this development?
You know what else they could do? Simulcast it. It will depress Mardi Gras viewership anyway, which is what they want.
Also, apparently the N24 name has never died.
well, may as well use the name again with Sky wanting it! ![]()
