ABC also now has a live screen for the Presidential Address.
Seven just broke into programming (11.59 aest). Michael Usher is presenting, with Hugh Whitfield on the desk too.
Nine just began in Sydney (12.02pm aest)
Seven has pushed its motor sport coverage to 7Mate. Nine took the Presidential address only and then back to normal programming. ABC New rolling coverage.
Seven have ended their coverage at 1.00pm.
Even if 10 wanted to do rolling coverage for this, I doubt that CBS resource would be there early on - their streamer intermitted between special report and BBC coverage before Trump’s address.
(with the old blocks on? Tsk)
That ‘Trump address’ box looked very Fox. Did Seven take Fox’s feed on the conference?
Sky had it in a box too, and I thought the same about it looking “very Fox”.
I wonder if the changes made to the way the White House press pool works in this administration has implemented some sort of rotation between the broadcasters of being responsible for production and distribution of presidential addresses?
BBC had it too
Do u have the full thing?
Seven will have a special bulletin at 9.50pm tonight, following Spotlight.
America Strikes?
C’mon now.
Does nine have anything?
Don’t they have a late news on Sundays anyway?
I just checked yes, they do but not until 10:43.
