I’m sure the 12 people who live in a market which can’t receive 7Flix but loved watching Ultimate Tag are devastated…
Agreed!

This is where stripping shows, new shows especially, is such a foolish strategy as if one fails you don’t have one night to fill, you have the whole week - and generally the way Aussie networks plan their year (often around what other stations are doing) you can’t just bring you next big franchise forward either, something perhaps you could get away with if they only aired once a week.
These are the end credits split screen on 7flix, seems the same as per main channel

Edited promo for 7flix
Monday saw the first of the three semi finals, the debut of two new pro taggers: Bulldog and Scorpion, and two new courses: the Alley (player v 3 pro taggers) in round 1 and Revenge Tag (player v player) in round 2.
WA’s Ryan Inouye was the only player (men or women) to finish the Alley course with all three tags intact, but lost his match-up in Revenge Tag. His sister Savannah also lost her battle in the same round.
Looks like all three semi finals will have the same format of the Alley and Revenge Tag.
UPDATE: the grand final will air on Easter Sunday (April 4) from 7pm to 8.30pm on 7flix.
Tonight’s grand final featured two brand new courses: Dodge Tag and The Vortex. Dodge Tag was similar to Survival Tag, but after 30 seconds, a contestant could press one of the buttons on the wall to increase his/her survival time without getting tagged: the red button for 10 seconds and the blue button for five seconds.
The Vortex was like the grander version of the Alley, which also featured 3 pro taggers, but the Vortex had a grand summit with the buzzer.
This show is still going? Literally thought it ended weeks ago, wow.
Moved to 7Flix a few weeks ago and no doubt burnt off during the Easter non-ratings period because very few were watching.
No clue what they were thinking ordering so many episodes. Hope they learnt their lesson having Holey Moley and now this
I know it’s not ideal for Seven, but at least Seven aired the series in its entirely. Even if it got shafted to its lowest rating multi-channel - 7flix, and aired its final in the Easter Non-Ratings season.
I hope Seven has learnt their mistakes, and air some reality shows ONCE a week, and with not-so-dragged-out-episodes…
(note: i had no idea the Grand Final was on tonight either. No promotion at all).
The prize money musn’t be all that great if they’re airing the whole thing.
Danielle Buttsworth and Peter Jaeger would be the only women’s and men’s champions of the local version, but what an exciting finish that was. Danielle set the pace in the women’s final round which her three opponents could not catch, while it took the last run of the night from Peter to overpass Ben Robinson’s already impressive time in the men’s final to take the title.
I’m guessing there must be a few flop shows from the pre-multi channel age which have episodes which were never actually aired when they got pulled from the schedule.
