But doesn’t it have the little “NBN” addon watermark still?

The Gold Coast Bulletin used to publish the UHF channels of Tamborine and Currumbin, until sub editing was outsourced and the page standardised.

Yes, I remember those from when I was living up there in the late 90s.

It would be too confusing to publish those these days in the world of LCNs.

TV Guide from today’s “The Advocate” in Northern Tasmania.

The listing of WIN News is the only trace of any heritage branding in this guide.

Today’s TV listing from The Sun TV Mag.

Each day has 3 double page spreads.

I like seeing international TV Mag listings. So thanks for the post. It’s not often I get to see their listings, and what their mag layout looks like.

Do our Sunday papers still have a TV magazine?

i just happened to see at my parents’ last week that the Sunday Herald Sun has a magazine lift-out which is half “Binge Guide” with a TV listing, and then turn the magazine over for the other half which is the Stellar feature magazine.

I assume that’s the same with The Sunday Telegraph. I had a look at the Sun Herald yesterday and the TV guide is in the newspaer these days.

Next Sunday from

10 pages for each day.

AFL getting the highlight treatment there on TNT 4!

While we may have less channels here than the UK, TV Week could take note! Four pages for FTA and two for pay-TV doesn’t cut it anymore. That grid format looks good.

TV Times from the same Sunday

The TV Times schedule layout for the main FTA channels looks very similar to that of TV Week.

And there are primetime highlights for the golf, test cricket and F1 too.

And TNT 2 as well. Also TNT 3 is showing Supercars Sydney SuperNight live in the morning.

There are similarities between TV Times and TV Week re main channels. There are six pages per day - two for the main channels and two for the freeview (are they the same/similar to multi-channels?) and two for Sky & Virgin, which looks like our Foxtel?

At least their morning and late programs are listed in smaller font and pushed in together, instead of our ones where it would just say “morning programs” and “Late programs” where many of our shows aren’t listed.

Foxtel Magazine - August

Surprised they haven’t rebranded more channels like Crime to RealCrime.

Foxtel One is also a shit name why not back to Fox One? Fox Classics etc? Comedy should revert to Comedy Channel. Their branding is so bad.

Here is something on sale on eBay. It’s the first issue of TV Guide in the UK dated March 25, 1989.
