So he returns home then goes back to Europe within a week? Odd!
I guess they wanted him for at least the first week after the Olympics to capitalise on the audience they gained during the games.
Also he was working in Europe, not taking a holiday.

She’s very confident when talking about the Olympics etc, but with a bit more experience with autocue, studio cameras etc she’ll be great I reckon.

In a bit of a surprise but good news for the new team, Weekend Today had a win in the metro markets on Sunday. 186,000 to 181,000 (217k to 206k with BVOD).

Upset, viewers must not have liked the Logies saturation
You’d think doubtful on either of those, as Seven’s team dominates usually every weekend and Seven’s AFL was the No. 1 non-news and sport with a 200k+ increase on the previous week the night before.

That was really cool what they did just then.
Like a coming up sweeper sort of thing.
Started with Alex presenting a story coming up, then flick to Jess at the other side of the studio for a sport hit then flick to Renee for an entertainment preview then flick to Tim for a weather preview.
Hard to explain but was cool.

Is it the ‘coming up’ sweeping shot they do between each presenter in the soft set area?
