I actually quite liked the tweaked era of lower thirds, they still look modern and fresh to me…
if anything after 2016 they all went downhill.

A fill-in isn’t “needed” - Lara is reporting. Nothing says localism like your ‘Perth’ presenter doing live crosses about a Sydney traffic jam.

These were much better, they always try to make them look more like 9 News after a while and screw it up.

May I ask where that bottom shot location is, with the cliff/rocky back-drop? It might just be the angle and nothing special, but looks like a nice hamlet and perfect for a TV OB and crowd interaction etc

That looks like an outdoor cinema with the screen on the water and seating on the tiers. Not really a great place for a crowd.

Qld ramping crisis… but the news has also said that hospital presentations have increased and Qld has the BEST ambulance response times in the country, 9 mins. I think those 2 things explain why the wait at emergency.
