I have never taken to her, so I selfishly hope that’s true.

What a shame if true. She was a great and versatile talent but admittedly she had been shafted around quite a bit so can’t blame her for moving on.

I’d say that she was very good, but at the time (for me at least) she didn’t really fit the vibe of the show. I think her forte is news presenting so if she has left TCN, hopefully she gets to present wherever she’s going.

I guess it’s all about perspective - I thought she was terrible. Tried to dial the enthusiasm/ energy too high and was often left gasping for air. I always found her better in the studio - and she was great when she read the news.

Yeah I met her once when she did live crosses from where I was working at the time, didn’t rate her too highly to be honest - on camera & off.

Do you remember the travel vouches gaffe when the winner said ill pay off some bills? and Karl was like “with travel vouchers? yeah…” and Ben Fordam pissed himself. Well I found the Tik Tok of that and the daughter of the lady replied in it saying her mum did cash the vouchers in and paid her bills lol
