A very typical Thursday night result with network shares largely unchanged on last week. Seven was again in front with a seven point margin to Nine. That kept Seven’s record of winning every Thursday of the survey intact with its 12th consecutive +30% Thursday share.
Seven’s line-up featured Home and Away as the top entertainment show of primetime while The AFL was the number one sport with just over 600k, but that was down 70k from last Thursday.
Nine’s NRL coverage was steady, making the top 10 while Nine News was notable for its highest national Thursday audience of the year.
ABC’s Restoration Australia and Grand Designs were steady. That followed ABC News posting its best Thursday result of the year and 7.30 having its best Thursday since Easter.
10’s Taskmaster dropped by 40k for episode two while earlier 10 News was another bulletin to post a 2024-high.
The afternoon game show battle continued with both shows on 2024 Thursday highs.
