On Seven, Geelong claimed a win over the Western Bulldogs in Thursday night AFL rating 683k up by 140k from last week. Also on the main channel was Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly with 339k plus Britain’s Got Talent was up to Semi-Final 3 with 190k. Both results down week-on-week.
For Nine, NRL Thursday Night Footy featuring a big defeat for the Bulldogs at the hands of the Dolphins averaged 627k, down 90k from the last Thursday club game. In AFL states RBT had 226k.
As Taskmaster approaches its season final, the penultimate episode drew 335k, up 30k while the return of Law & Order missed the top 30 with just 164k.
On ABC, Grand Design was in Lincolnshire Wolds this week with 452k. Later. Martin Clunes: Islands Of The Atlantic took viewers to Madeira and the Azores just in the top 30 with 299k.
The 6pm news battle continued to be close with Seven back on top after a rare loss on Wednesday; the margin was 80k. Tipping Point grew its audience from the previous Thursday while The Chase improved to top 700k. Sunrise had a 100k win at breakfast.
