Nine won Thursday by almost two points from second-placed Seven. Network shares were similar to the previous week though 10 improved enough to secure its second highest share of the year.

That was helped by the return of Gogglebox for season 21 and for the first time exclusive to 10. The premiere episode averaged 666k a significant improvement on the 2024 debut episode that had 538k. It did well to rank third in the 25-54 demo.

It was up against Home and Away with another triple Thursday where episode one had 800k dropping to 677 for episode three. Over on Nine, RBT was steady with 666k while ABC’s Back Roads was up slightly to 533k.

Later, Emergency stood out with 555kk, a gain of 35k from last week while A+E After Dark still had over 300k watching.

The Graham Norton Show on 10 was up 60k to over 300k with a better lead in. Sue Perkins’ Big Adventure: Paris to Istanbul on ABC also improved while Seven’s movie Mamma Mia! was down from last week’s to 234k.

Seven News dropped +100k from last Thursday but stayed 100k ahead of Nine. Tipping Point bettered The Chase by 100k and Sunrise saw Today close the gap at breakfast to 80k.
