And really what’s news dot com, Sky News or Daily Fail going to do for clickbait now? It’s a huge loss of outrage clickbait for them
Add to that The Australian.
People may not have liked it but for 16 years it was topical and life and spoke to 10s audience and demos. It’s had a good run and now we move on. Shame people have lost their jobs and a big chunk of production from Como will go. It’s a sad day for 10 Melbourne but I’m sure Sky News will be celebrating in glee tonight across their hate filled programming.

On the one hand, I do agree. The Project has long copped it on social media and been the constant target of hit pieces from certain media organisations just for not being conservative.
On the other hand, you can’t tell me that if the news was about a Sky program, this forum wouldn’t be doing the same thing.
Hosts Waleed Aly, Sarah Harris and Hamish Macdonald will leave the network, while comedian Sam Taunton is expected to continue as a guest on Ten’s light entertainment shows.
It is likely some Project staff will be redeployed to the new (current affairs) show, which will be overseen by broadcast news vice president, Martin White.
Harris told this masthead that when she started working in television, she was about the same age as The Project is now.
“There aren’t many jobs where you get to tell very human stories, and interview politicians and celebrities all while having a laugh – or ugly crying – in front of a live studio audience every night,” Harris said.
“I’ve had a blast [but] it’s time for me to take a breath and spend some time with my boys,” she added, while joking, “keep an eye out for my OnlyFans page!”
I haven’t watched the show in a number of years. Unfortunately most on the left have lives and dont watch tv on a regular basis. The show delivered some unbelievable and entertaining moments. The penis on carries paper and Waleeds interview with Scott Morrison will never be forgotten by me. I had a friend that worked on the show for a number of years and from him there were amazing people that worked on the show. Hopefully they all find jobs.
Still dont think this is the right move. I think they should have just refocused it on the lighter side of news, but what can you do?
Hope they give it a proper farewell. It deserves it.
Network 10 axes The Project | TV Tonight
TVT article comes out, basically what we know
They are wrong. That just shows how lost they are within this show.
Many of these campaigns are half the reason the show is viewed how it is.
They didn’t see the wood for the trees.
Where are you seeing this?
Sarah for Nine??
Waleed and Hamish for ABC??
Sarah would have great on a show like 60. I just feel like she has a whole lot more to offer in a news division.
She is more valuable than these fluffy nonsense shows.
Sarah could be a potential host of the new show? Just putting it out there.
She said she’s leaving the network.
It’s already been confirmed she is leaving Network 10.
Where has she said that?
The SMH article quoted above.
60 minutes?? Maybe. But I’d reckon she’d go down to Breakfast TV or Morning Shows
Plus she’s gotten used to LIVE audiences
Sounds like she is leaving tv, which is a massive loss IMO
