Season Final is on Wednesday 15 October 7:00PM 7Mate and 11:30 PM on Seven.
That’s the last day of 2025 AFL trade period. The episode will provide a wrap of the player trade during the two week period.
Returning in 2026
The Agenda Setters – Seven’s new Monday and Tuesday night AFL news and opinion program fronted by Kane Cornes, Nick Riewoldt, Caroline Wilson, Craig Hutchinson, Brad Hodge and Dale Thomas – has won a loyal and growing audience across Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport.
I assume this is an error from Seven and they mean Luke Hodge….Brad Hodge was a cricketer!
Rugby League version coming
Apparently the show is set to expand to 3 episodes per week next year. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Seven confirmed the Wednesday addition this morning, plus the presenting line-up.
For the new Wednesday night edition, Craig Hutchison starts the year in the host chair alongside Nick Riewoldt and Mitch Cleary, plus a rotating third panellist — with Collingwood captain Darcy Moore set to appear regularly on the Wednesday show throughout the season, including the first episode on March 11.

I thought two nights of Footy Classified and Agenda Setters was more than enough. Don’t know if the third night is needed.
I preferred the 7pm slot as I find there is usually nothing on to watch at that time leading into the 7.30 evening shows.
I actually don’t mind this show - but is three nights in a row too much?
Got to give Seven some value to the money they spent for the AFL, i guess.
I agree - IMO, the Tuesday show is a bit pointless as not much news occurs apart from tribunal hearings. Should just be Monday to review the previous round, and Wednesday to look at the round ahead.
I think Monday & Wednesday is the perfect mix.
Monday = previous round recap
Wednesday = preview up coming round
Despite the premature end to the Women’s Test Cricket (that was taking up the 7.30pm timeslot on 7Mate) The Agenda Setters will still only be broadcast on the main channel tonight both AFL and NRL.
Start time tonight has been pushed pack to 9:20 pm (and 10:20pm) thanks to overrun from Idol.
Are they both (RL & AFL) prerecorded earlier in the day I’m guessing
At least one has to be as they use the same set.
‘It was a deep fake’: Cornes’ slip of the tongue ruffles feathers at Channel 7
Kane Cornes has blamed AI for an embarrassing slip of the tongue while hosting The Agenda Setters this week.
Cornes welcomed viewers back from the break on Tuesday night and accidentally called the program the name of its rival.
“Welcome back to Footy Classified,’’ he said.
None of his fellow panellists picked up on the error but it was later cut from the Channel 7 app.
“I think it was AI,’’ Cornes said. “It was a deep fake.”
Cornes said he wasn’t aware he’d said the wrong thing until the production staff scrambled.
Was this Tuesday or Wednesday show?
The article said Tuesday’s show.
