Revealed in the Sunday Herald Sun today that Melbourne/Adelaide weather presenter Kate Freebairn is pregnant, expecting her first child, a girl, in March.
Will be interesting to see who fills in for her on weather duties. Perhaps Jayde Cotic?

That’s a good appointment. He’s a good young reporter. Michelle Rimmer must’ve been an interim freelancer until they could find a replacement for Phoebe Bowden.
Speaking of Phoebe, she filed a few reports out of Sydney a few weeks ago but nothing since. I wonder if she still works for the network.

Both Melbourne and Adelaide started at the same time, so yes.
That doesn’t mean anything.
10 Sydney and Brisbane start at the same time 6 months of the year and they managed two bulletins simultaneously.
I’m not saying todays Melb and Adel wasn’t combined I’m just saying airing at the same time isn’t an indication of whether it was the same or not.

This entire bulletin is Melbourne focused including the weather. Surely they inserted some parts in for Adelaide, or had Candice read a separate bulletin in studio? If not then that’s just a piss poor effort for the Adelaide audience.
EDIT: according to the Facebook page they uploaded a few Adelaide stories. The wording by Jen was different from one of the stories in the Melbourne version, so they definitely got a somewhat dedicated bulletin. Not sure if it took the same form as their usual Adelaide bulletin though.
