He’s worked in war zones, it’s part of their job. He isn’t being forced there.

They need him there for this major world event. It is too much for one reporter to cover. Exemptions for travel for essential work are used in this regard and the other networks have done similar for their reposting of correspondents.

Any word on Phoebe Bowden? Has she returned to London yet? She came back to Aus a few months ago but I haven’t seen her on air in ages so was wondering if she’s head back to be the European correspondent.

Pardon my lack of relevant knowledge but why doesn’t Hugh have to quarantine when arriving in the US? Do they have different requirements than us/per state?
There’s no entry / quarantine restrictions at all for travellers from Australia.

Australia is pretty unique with its quarantine rules.
Not everywhere in the world is trapped within state borders - tourism for example has returned across Europe.
