Concept is very similar. Still, good audience engagement if they do it properly, which they never did with the last incarnation of Eyewitness.
The cynic is me also wonders if encouraging viewer tips could be a cheap substitute for actual news gathering in 10s case.

I’ve noticed that 10 have been using the thinner, lower case font and the blue underline quite a lot lately. I wonder if we might see a few graphic changes as we approach the election. When was the last change?

Your eye on the news
Noticed a few months back they added that tips email address to pretty much all the social media pages, but was originally updated to something like “social-news@networkten.com.au” before being quickly updated.
Interesting promo, assume all markets will get this.

The Late News had a live cross to Samara Gardner who appeared to be in front of a screen, it looked different from the screens in the main set. There was also a cross during the 5PM news, the background looked pretty washed out but i wasn’t paying much attention so it might of actually been in the newsroom.
It was also used in Angela Bishop’s report on Robert Irwin’s Bonds undies ad.

Yes, I thought so.
I’m assuming this was due to Melbourne doing the weather graphics and implementing the local national map.

Sorry weird question - 10’s bulletins are now presented from their local markets, however people say that ‘playout’ or ‘control’ is from Sydney and/or Melbourne for all five bulletins.
Can someone give me the correct terminology for what I am trying to say?

ATV and TEN Syd share the studio controls for the bulletins outside of ATV and Sydney.

The control rooms that operate the bulletins are located in Sydney and Melbourne. They’re presented all locally and directed down the line.
