Hopefully Ten Perth gets a new decent set when they move to their new location in the new year.

It was previously mentioned that they will be getting a set similar to the current Brisbane and Melbourne sets

We say goodbye to Ten’s Dianella studio on Friday night after 28 years.
Full dress rehearsal for Perth’s Ten Eyewitness News at new Subiaco studio tomorrow morning.
Exciting times for all at Team Ten.
So that makes the 5th for day 1 at their new home.

Will be interesting to see how much different Perth’s new set will be from the current one, hopefully there is a separate weather presentation area, not a fan of if being read from the desk.
Here’s what Perth currently offers set wise, similar to that of the ‘temporary’ looking set in Melbourne.

Yeah, the current Perth set isn’t too great! 
As well as the new set, I think it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Ten Eyewitness News: First At Five Perth goes to HD production in some form or another. Hopefully one of our Perth-based members will be able to check on that for us!

There will be no wood paneling thats for sure on the new set! Its gonna have a black glossy floor too! Its made by a set company that designed “the project” set.

Would that be Baensiger Coles Architects, they also designed the original set for the 7pm Project and sets for Family Fued, The Circle and Ten News Adelaide.

An idea… ten should’ve launched a summer post big bash bulletin of ten news. Would’ve been good for promotion with a large audience feeding into the bulletin.
But alas… no brains in management at ten.
