do you understand the meaning of “diversity?”
It’s an old old wooden ship.
I really don’t see anything wrong with using other networks footage. It saves money and looks no different on air.
Really good to see that Ten have stepped up their online presence.
Now even seeing very responsive local breaking news stories on weekends through Facebook and on their website too.
well shut the whole bloody operation down and simulcast Nine News at 6 then…
And SBS too seeming that they and Ten suffer Low Ratings from Their News Bulletins., Joining Forces with Foxtel is their Only Hope.
Can you please stop it with this? Honestly, you post it regularly and it is getting tiresome.
The crazy capitalisation is setting me off too
Breaking news graphic from facebook.
TEN have started using their official Instagram account again ( @channeltennews ) from yesterday after it went quiet for a couple of months but most of the posts seem to just be Sydney news updates.
They also haven’t figured out the videos they are uploading can be changed to allow the full aspect to be shown rather than the cropped version that it defaults to on upload.
The Qld & Perth accounts still remsin inactive, while Melb & Adelaide seem to be individually controlled.
There seems to be quite a serious investment in Ten’s news division at the moment. There’s really decent local breaking news coverage on updates throughout most of the day which was previously unheard of over the last few years.
From what I hear there was a bit of a loosening of the purse strings (not by much) for this year.
We could be seeing those results.
It’s also so disappointing that Ten didn’t see the quality in that presenter, but that’s a story for another time…
More on social platforms which is good but no one knows because nothing is fucking promoted. Could they please please please make a promo. Better news gathering wouldn’t go astray either.
The Ten news department have made some blunders over the years but none bigger than sacking Kapalos when Walden’s retirement was imminent. Huge loss.
The Melbourne Bulletin could’ve used Veteran Reporter Nicole Strahan as Candice Wyatt’s Substitiute Newslady, Or Leah Craven, We Need more Female News Anchors for Backup.
