No mention of the special time for the news tonight at 5:30 in Queensland, assume the same for NSW/VIC viewers with the bulletin at 6?
Must say, the output from 10 News First tonight has been excellent. Been a long time since we saw such a commitment on the weekend.

pretty sure she has presented a Perth bulletin before when she was based in Perth a few years ago.

Queensland seemed fairly local tonight, the top 2 stories leading the bulletin were local including a live cross and then there was 2 stories from Joe Hill which included a hyper local story about a local radio presenter.
The coming up part for The Sunday Project was clearly pre-recorded rather than the usual live cross that they usually do also.

Maybe a little over the top 
So will there be minor tweaks to the other sets around the country or is it just Sydney/National bulletins that get the new look for now?
From my understanding, only Sydney for now and the rest of the country later on.

Iām sure someone has already posted it including footage but Studio 10 just ended commenting theyāll be on tomorrow from their āBig, Bold, new studioā not sure if that was a lame tie in to mention the multi channel or not, but they barely showed anything, someone wiping something and a screw going in to wood.

Although Iām sure nothing will be revealed until 5pm, at what time does the first Sydney News Update of the day go to air?

That used to be the case, but since Studio 10 extended to 12pm it seems like thereās just a national update at the end of that show?
Not sure, I havenāt watched the show since school returned so Iām not sure what happens nowadays.
First local updates are at 12.30.

Theyāll probably just greenscreen the old set until 5PM.
They have been known for keeping their secrets until the actual launch.
