The shots are reminiscent of overheard Drone shots. Very new media esque.
Missing the local skyline shots. Globe is too busy for me.
The anchor is sitting too close to the screen and there’s not enough depth in the camera shot… it would look better with greater distance between screen and anchor. That’s just a practical thing… sometimes there isn’t room… hence my preference for a wider shot.
It is the same VO talent.
OK. I think they could fix that without moving anything. Just adjust the scale of the map. I like the map though.
Definitely not as stilted as in Sydney.
Adelaide doesn’t work imo with the static background imo, looks really weird.
She sounds like a robot.
Rebecca Morse too far away. She’s too small in the OTS shot.
I think it should just be ‘Ten News with Sandra Sully’. Still have First on screen, but no need to say it. Just get on with it.
I want an unplugged version of the Ten News theme please.
LOVE the drone shots… 
This. I love the revamp and refresh (exactly what’s needed), but nothing editorially has changed. I was excited by the small video promo I saw at the Upfronts - “In a world of fake news, we’re focusing on the facts.” Some of the silly puns and other bullshit that sometimes tarnished the classier commercial offering that Ten has always positioned itself as are still there.
I’m not disappointed, I just think it could’ve gone further - without more dollars being spent.
I think perhaps I’m just a bit fatigued from seeing relaunches that don’t offer a new product.
Sweating over how they’ll portray the Brisbane Brown Snake.
