They could get a good leadin and some decent exposure if they aired news at 6pm after a significant event.

If ten had stuck, with the news revolution âŚsix years later it would be fine. They lost patience too early.
Extra exposure perhaps, but at the expense of getting smashed by Seven and Nine News. We saw all this before 2011 when Ten had significant programming (aFL) leading into the 6pm Ten Evening News in Melbourne.
Something was missing for the duration of the first story after an ad break on Sydneyâs 5pm news last nightâŚ
Happens very often on Seven News Perth.
As opposed to one of the other numerous bulletins Ten airs in Sydney each day!!
Lots of network personalities on Ten Brisbaneâs weather last night. They seemed to be having a good time; Po and Miguel couldnât stop laughing.
Ended with a special message from Miguel to Georgie âyou look amazingâ
Is thatâŚis that Nollsy?
Some audio issues during the Brisbane bulletin tonight when sports reporter Trent Simpson couldnât be heard during the coming up in sport later live look while Lachlan was throwing to the first break.
Interesting use of the video wall tonight also:
Really they had to put a picture of that murderer with the victim? Showing her face would have been just enough.
The newsroom looks bare though :l
Donât know if anyoneâs mentioned it
In Melbourne, traffic reports on Seven Afternoon News & Ten Eyewitness News have been without a chopper the past couple of weeks.
I imagine Sunrise, Today & Nine Afternoon News are the same?
Wonder why?
Today had a traffic update from the âControl Roomâ this morning
According to Jimmy Wirtanenâs twitter (@JimmyTraffic) there appears to have been some sort of technical issues with the chopper, so theyâve been doing traffic out of the VicRoads control room since July 18th.
It looks like a new chopper is coming from Brisbane and will be up and running next week.
Except, I donât think itâs their actual âControl Roomâ rather just a room with a video wall.
Oh, ta, thanks for that
No, he is in the VicRoads Traffic Management Centre.
Jimmyâs there anyway on weekday mornings (for Triple M Hot Breakfast) relaying all the info from the cameras, to his colleages at ATNâs base at Essendon Airport.
âTime to update the top stories here on men!â - Sandra Sully She later corrected herself
Perth has a rainy Perth Skyline for their top story on Perthâs wild Weather. Iâll try to get caps of it.
