They could get a good leadin and some decent exposure if they aired news at 6pm after a significant event.

Extra exposure perhaps, but at the expense of getting smashed by Seven and Nine News. We saw all this before 2011 when Ten had significant programming (aFL) leading into the 6pm Ten Evening News in Melbourne.
Something was missing for the duration of the first story after an ad break on Sydneyâs 5pm news last nightâŚ

Lots of network personalities on Ten Brisbaneâs weather last night. They seemed to be having a good time; Po and Miguel couldnât stop laughing.

Some audio issues during the Brisbane bulletin tonight when sports reporter Trent Simpson couldnât be heard during the coming up in sport later live look while Lachlan was throwing to the first break.

In Melbourne, traffic reports on Seven Afternoon News & Ten Eyewitness News have been without a chopper the past couple of weeks.
I imagine Sunrise, Today & Nine Afternoon News are the same?

Today had a traffic update from the âControl Roomâ this morning
According to Jimmy Wirtanenâs twitter (@JimmyTraffic) there appears to have been some sort of technical issues with the chopper, so theyâve been doing traffic out of the VicRoads control room since July 18th.
It looks like a new chopper is coming from Brisbane and will be up and running next week.

Jimmyâs there anyway on weekday mornings (for Triple M Hot Breakfast) relaying all the info from the cameras, to his colleages at ATNâs base at Essendon Airport.
