News exchange backdrop would’ve been better than Sydney IMO, but good to see it appear mid bulletin anyway with the lastest news.

I didn’t think Ten News had been airing pop-ups for news content during the Bold & Beautiful anymore, I haven’t seen any for some time.

The problem with this weekend bulletin was evident tonight… after the drought coverage was two Victorian bases stories about local issues and no relevance for viewers outside Victoria.

That’s why there is seven and nine abc local editions in every state .
Ten isn’t going to bring back local bulletins for other states, they are slowly rebuilding the news room after it was fucked about.
And definitely I live in WA but sometimes I do like seeing other stories from other states so that’s why I tend to watch tens weekend bulletin sometimes on demand .
Considering more than half of Queensland is in drought also, I’m glad to see Ten are focusing some attention to this area with this story set to run tonight with Amber also reporting from Texas in QLD for Studio 10 today.
Observation - the AFL tribunal decision was handed down about 10 mins ago. Yet Channel 10 Perth during their live broadcast went to an ad, and have returned and not mentioned it - not even a ticker or onscreen comment.
Appreciate it’s not news for everyone, but it’s the biggest thing in Perth right now. Why bother having an earlier news service if you aren’t going to ‘break’ news as it happens?

Odd, they broke the News of Nic Nat’s 1 week ban fairly quickly just before the final ad break, was wondering if they had covered it. Did they cover it at the beginning or end of Sport?
