I wonder if they will air the UK Traitors in January? It is good content for the summer.
Strange move on the Monday though! Pushing late news to run after Midnight on a night it usually pulls it’s best rating of the week. I’m surprised if the really wanted they could’ve shown it from 8:30/45 on Sunday, Wednesday or Thursday since it’s a one off.
Perhaps 10 have realised how much of a train wreck this year has been with a 9:30pm News bulletin then not much else to stick around for. IMO the late news should be airing no earlier than 10pm. I did a Mock schedule about a week and a half ago setting out how I would program evenings on 10. In this schedule the news was listed at 10:30, obviously pushed back if realities run beyond a 8:30 finish time
Without news at 9:30 their prime times would be tanking. They have nothing else.

Is it more the fact Paramount+ arent willing to allow content to air on 10 in an attempt to entice viewers to sign up to the streaming service?
10 could air some of the Paramount+ content on 10 eg the first series of The Road could air at say 8:30pm Thursday with all new Graham Norton at 9:30pm. Sundays could be series 1 of Mobland at 8:30pm with an Australian edition of a Entertainment This Week style program at 9:30pm (or even 10:30pm Sundays).
If 10 aired series 1 of Paramount + content in an attempt to entice viewers to sign up. This is an idea to attempt to market Paramount+

I think the 9.30 news actually works well. I don’t know what the ratings are like but I don’t think they are that bad and it probably helps stop people switching off after the 8.30 shows have finished.

Ratings wise, the Late News does well on Mondays and Tuesdays, thanks to the lead-in of HYBPA and The Cheap Seats. Not really sure how it goes for the rest of the week though.
With the various length of some reality shows, the late news sometimes doesn’t start until 9.50pm onwards, and it goes for an hour, finishing by 10.50pm some nights. It’s what 10 airs after this, is the problem. Currently, Two and a Half Men repeats (and previously, the Big Bang Repeats). Not sure how these rate compared to other 11pm shows. Primetime shares go to midnight.

I am saying that 10 arent offering anything beyond the late news for viewers to stay on beyond 10:30-ish. My proposed mock schedule could be altered to incorporate the news at 9:30 instead of 10:30 which could include US Procedurals from 8:30pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

With Big Brother starting at least the week of October 25, 10 are going to need to do a lot of rearranging in their schedule with episodes remaining of Parents Evening, Sydney Harbour Cops and the final episodes of Celebrity Traitors UK. Are they going to be moved later or even dropped until Big Brother is over? With limited time slots available, I am surprised 10 didn’t launch Parents Evening on September 21 for an extra episode to run instead of a Deal Or No Deal Celebrity repeat. 
That would have been up against the Brownlow - even HYBPA dropped 150,000 that day

One possible solution is to show Big Brother daily show at 7pm followed by Parents’ Evening, Sydney Harbour Cops and Celebrity Traitors UK.

Season 4 of Food Trail South Africa, hosted by Warren Mendes, premieres on 10 tomorrow (October 3) at 3.30pm.
OK, we have all said in one way or another about 10 lacking content, but it seems they also lack vision. As an example on Nickelodeon tonight they are airing a UK show called Guessable. 10 could have very easily been airing this on Friday or Saturday night to give new to 10 content. All up there were 44 episodes made.
Further to the above, 10 could do a local version of this program.

Meshel has been hosting True Crime Tonight on KIIS network since May 3 this year, meaning her series will be seen or heard on podcast, radio and soon on TV.
Some new content for the week ahead.
Meshel Laurie’s True Crime premieres on Monday at 10.40pm. Would it have worked better after HYBPA’s Final?
Surprised that the A-League Opener on Friday is airing on 10. I thought that they were only showing games on Saturday nights. Or was there a clause that some marquee matches were to be shown?
Has a date for Paramounts ANZ Upfronts been announced?
