Another big week of sport for 10. Sunday will be huge with F1 followed by Matildas. Interesting to see how the promos go for that Super Sunday.

Saturday schedule subject to change with which Quarter Final Australia plays in will be determined by the results. If AUS is a Group A Winner that will get the 8pm AEDT final in Sydney. However they could be in the 6pm AWST final in Perth if second or not at all.

Are Matilda’s even still a thing?

Big day in sports for the Sunday (Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Women’s Asian Cup with the Matildas.

Looks like Millionaire Hot Seat repeats on Friday nights are here to stay… There shouldn’t be repeats of any game shows in their first few months of airings. Heck, even advertise a biggish win towards the tail-end of the week to retain some viewers, instead of the usual drop off in viewers.

NRL and AFL are starting, no real surprises about Hot Seat going to repeat mode on Fridays, possibly until end of September at least

Sneaky 10. Putting on yet another repeat of Australian Survivor tonight - after the Matildas match. The Italian Job (movie) was initially scheduled to air after the match.

How many times had 10 aired repeats of Survivor in the last week? Three episodes last night, one tonight, the daily repeats last week at 10.30am, plus others I have missed. If viewers aren’t going to watch the initial new airings, are they going to watch the repeats instead?

Tonight was the 8th repeat it broadcast this weekend - two airings each Sat/Sun daytime, 3 last night, and tonight. So repeats have been aired 11 times this week.

Tomorrow night it gets even more pathetic as the new episode will be simulcast across 10, 10D and 10C.

Survivor is trying to be a survivor of bad ratings currently.
I fear 10 are killing it

Thats the problem of most of 10s reality programs, they are old and stale. 10 need to source new, untried formats in Australia and not use formats exhausted by the other networks.

I feel something like Wipeout or Man O Man would do better than some of these BUT even these formats would struggle Repeating a program in the same week morw than once is a turn off for me

This won’t work in 2026

10 did try a new format (The Cube hosted by Andy Lee) two years ago, but it was crushed in the ratings by Married at First Sight.

There is little 10 can do when people continue to flock to drivel such as MAFS week after week.

They also have nowhere to promote anything new without a major sport that brings massive eyeballs. It’s a self perpetuating cycle. They can’t increase audience without a sport but no major sport wants to sign with them because of their smaller audience. They’re stuck unless something changes. I don’t see them getting the NRL so they really are fucked and they’ll probably be shut down in a few years time.

They need to bring back The Biggest Loser.

It didn’t work in 1994.

And Australian Idol, which used to have artists that are still around when it was on 10. Now no one remembers or knows who won after it’s over!

That wasn’t well executed. Andy needed someone to bounce off for the comedy, the slowmo irritated everyone also.

Naked Man O Man might……. What about a Naked Ice Hockey drama called Naked Rivalry?

No Australian network has tried Naked Attraction yet

I think the issue for 10 is that there don’t have an established audience with people who will watch their shows.

With the :soccer_ball: yesterday, if it was on 7 or 9 even against similar rated programs I could see that match getting 800-900k.

I think a big sport would help but they have given good bids but just haven’t gotten the rights. I just don’t know what show will get people to watch 10 & also get people to stick around to watch other programs.
