Gotta give it to 10 for thinking replacing a showâs new episode with two encores of another is a good ratings move.
I donât think this is about ratings though. They must think promoting the new Aussie show is more important. Any extra audience for Ghosts can only be a good thing.

Promoting it also makes sense (including encores), tricking people watching a crime show is stupid. But its a 10 tactic

The EPG was changed in Melbourne earlier tonight.
Not in Newcastle it wasnât.
It should now be S06 E09 following last nightâs pre-emption for Ghosts Australia encore.
The task force investigates a series of deadly fires involving the descendants of those who caused the infamous 1985 MOVE bombing in Philadelphia; Ninaâs sister turns to her in a time of need.

Also, the following will replace a DBVB AU repeat in daytime. Seems a bit random when it could have replaced any one of the five repeats in primetime.
Not really essential primetime viewing, is it? Itâs just a random ep of a Smithsonian show, which happens to focus on repairs at Dreamworld. A daytime slot is pretty fitting.

Boggles that these type of specials always seem like an afterthought for the network, slipped into the schedule last minute, zero promotion at all.

The 2hr NBC version that will be on 7 has lots of Cynthia/Ariana performances as well as 2 special guests singing with them. Watched it this arvo twice, great production, normal over the top audience reactions for an American show. amazing how committed some of these wicked fans areâŚ.so many green faces
Like the ones who would watch a two hour special twice in one afternoon.
