Interesting move…
Australian Survivor finale now moved to Sunday 12 September.
Update:
Tuesday 7 September
07:30 pm The Project Presents 9/11: 20 Years On
08:30 pm The Cheap Seats
09:25 pm The Montreal Comedy Festival Rpt
10:25 pm The Project Rpt
11:25 pm The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
Good idea. At least 10 won’t be running dead on that Sunday.
Also good to see another Project special commissioned.
I think 10 have judged that The Voice and Survivor have different audiences with little overlap.
Surprising but good programming move.
Interesting to see The Voice and Survivor Finals air on the same night. Different audience overall.
And i hope that The Project Special rates this time around. Their specials have been a bit of a hit and miss over the years.
It’s a great move that won’t see 10 lose that momentum.
So 2 hours of Project?
No, The Project and a Project Presents Documentary.
Probably just some cheap repacked CBS content- but that’s fine. At least its something new and different and flows well sandwiched between the Project and Cheap Seats.

every. freakin. week. Who’s watching this show?
Surely they’ve played through all available episodes 10 times by now.
They’re fucked in the head. Surely a movie, a doco or something else could be put there instead of that shit.
They have 8:30 content on Mon, Tues and Thursday. But why not Sunday’s and Wednesday?
you would think having access to CBS would give them at least something else to run in this slot instead of three hours of a show nobody cares for.
They could even repackage CBS 60 minutes stories and add one local story. Cheap and cost effective programming. They did this with a show called Revealed with Hugh Riminton back in 2013. It was buried in a 9:30 time slot and not promoted at all so I wonder why it never stuck around.
And before we say who would do the local stories… If they asked very journalist at the network to produce one or two long form story a year they’d have enough content to sustain a show supported by 60 mins US content.
Yeah I just can’t understand the logic behind these three bull repeats.
How dare you criticise Bev McGarvey’s favourite drama ![]()
Channel 9 owns the local rights to the 60 Minutes brand name.
I didn’t say brand name. I said the stories. 10 have aired the stories before.
