Has 10 shown the Grammy Awards before?
Pretty sure they did, maybe in the 1990s?
I don’t mind it. It wouldn’t work in a lot of cases, though, but it is OK in this context IMO
Looking at past TV guides, 10 have indeed aired the Grammy Awards, the most recent one I can see was in 2001. They’ve probably had the rights for other Grammys throughout the 2000s.
I love it, but agreed that it’s probably not practical in enough cases to warrant using it as the default/regular logo
Going by online guide, the schedule for Saturday 6 March looks like this:
6.00: Three Blue Ducks (NEW)
6.30: Bondi Rescue Rpt
7.00: The Cube Rpt
8.00: Ambulance Rpt
9.10: Ambulance Rpt
10.20: Territory Cops Rpt
10.50: NCIS LA Rpt
11.50: Inside the Children’s Hospital Rpt
Ten has no hope with Three Blue Ducks. Airing it at the dreaded 6pm slot on a Saturday. The rest of the primetime schedule are repeats. How exciting… When will Bold beat Ten in the ratings on a Saturday? Surely it will be any week now…
Their whole Saturday night is kind of like one blind duck leading to another then all become lame ducks anyway ![]()
I think you mean Three Blue Ducks?
haha, yes, their whole Saturday night of late does seem very lame.
And yes, silly me, i did mean Three Blue Ducks (i’ve edited my post now). Shows how much Ten needs to promote their whole week, rather than just for The Amazing Race and The Cube, and not much else! lol.
It did came very close last night, with the main channel only outrating Bold by 0.3%.

And 10’s main channel finished last again behind SBS (probably more obviously last night with Mardi Gras) and by an even bigger margin
Very very soon by the looks of it! ![]()
Ch10 are obviously showing the Harry & Megan interview tonight, but is there any way to stream it at the same time as US?
We’re not permitted to discuss how to circumvent rights holders here but I’d say it will be next to impossible to stream considering the amount of worldwide interest. The interview doesn’t go to air in the UK until tomorrow so you can imagine there’e be many trying to get a first look by other means there. Broadcasters have paid a fortune for rights (Ten is reported to have paid $400,000) and will be keen to protect their interest.
One of the comments on this says the Daily Mail has an 11 page special about the interview. about an interview they’ve not seen.
I actually think the break up from the royal family is a race move. Meghan has endured so much criticism and racism since she started dating Harry from the English media. This is the media that is responsible for the death of Caroline Flack.
TV Blackbox live blogging the interview airing now in the US.
Live blogging with commentary from him. It is a pity that he isn’t advocating for watching things legally within Australia.
Ten won’t be happy having every detail leaked. There are things about to drop concerning race, gender of child and security issues that will get widespread coverage this afternoon but his blog will be considered a major spoiler by people at Ten.
I don’t really care about the spoilers. I just think it’s quite obvious that someone is watching it as it’s got personal views. Which only means he is watching via a VPN. And as someone that works in the media you wouldn’t think this is something he would be advocating for.
