Coles Express is to become Reddy Express under it’s new owner, OTR. Will not be a drastic visual change as once thought.

New owner is actually Viva Energy. Viva is still waiting on ACCC approval to take over OTR. Viva energy have also stated that all Coles Express branding will be fully removed by December 2026

Correct. Reddy Express is basically the ‘interim’ brand name owned by Viva.
This is similar to the Caltex Star Mart to Ampol Foodary rebranding where they only repainted the building Black with Red Stripes and installed Foodary signage where the Star Mart signage used to be. The interior basically only required swapping out the Star Mart branded panels with the Black and White Foodary livery.

Woolworths in Leichhardt. I’m so confused - price reduced from $7.50 to $5 - save $3.50. Is the full price $7.50 or $8.50?
It was only a year ago that this cereal was full priced at $5.

Woolworths NZ (aka Countdown) have tweaked their logo. It’s started appearing in TV ads this (or last) week;

Most likely the regular price has gone from 8.50 to 7.50 during the special week and whoever does the tickets hasn’t bothered to fix the special ticket

Kmart Eastland is in the midst of a makeover - and the registers have moved permanently ro the front of the store - with an exit direct from the checkouts.
Sephora is also opening in the space next to H&M. I believe that’s been vacant since the centre expanded in 2016.
That’ll make ppl happy if they are moving back to this format all round.
Going to be a shame for those news companies to no longer make their obligatory monthly article on how ‘Customers are outraged by this shocking Kmart change…’

I recall my local had a bank of checkouts at the front also in addition to the middle island.
One would assume they are having some theft issues at the moment.
I was in BIGW the other day and noted they had that new self serve software that asks you a question at the end ‘have you scanned everything’ , it then calls for an attendant who played a video on what the issue was. The issue was I had a drink in the trolley. Very clever tech.
