Well that explains it!
I don’t often see weekday Sunrise at 8am so this may not be new, but have noticed the last 2 mornings when a story in the promo has already happened by 8am, they update the opener with a clip of the interview. Example today was the interview with Jim Chalmers.
Much better than continuing to promote a story that has already been covered.

And a new angle I’ve not seen before when Kochie and Nat interviewed Val Quinn about the Apple software changes. They were standing in front of the 7News screens, and he was on the screen on the right hand side.
