If I remember correctly this is her first time presenting sport on Sunrise since September 2017 when she and Nat had an argument of sorts over junior sports.
This also makes it two thirds of the Seven News Sydney team on the Sunrise line-up today, although Angie is on news rather than weather.

Awful. I don’t get why they are using the last package as the background? Baffling?!
It also doesn’t animate.
I wonder if they had an issue with their weather graphics system and this is temporary? One would bloody hope.

Great to see Mel getting another opportunity on Sunrise.
This could coincide with Sean Power taking over as EP. He’s probably wanting to trial different people in fill-in roles.

Id prefer him to choose someone other than Mel she is a terrible presenter. Bad enough that she is the permanent Sydney presenter. She wouldn’t be if I was running things.
I don’t mind the weather graphics it’s no better or worse then the previous ones.

There were no weather icons on the map yesterday from what I saw, so perhaps…
It was nice that they actually got a sports fill-in this time and that it was female but, yeah, I’d prefer someone other than Mel. It’s interesting that Sunrise uses nearly all of the second-rate presenters from Sydney’s 6pm as their main reliefs, even for holiday cover.
Probably some problem and they whipped this up.

I thought she was fine, quite refreshing to see a fresh face on the desk. She interacted well with the team and it’s great to see a female read the sport on Sunrise. Has not happened many times at all in 20 years.
